Lord of the dance!

WALT understand about Jesus.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write the most important message about the Lord of the Dance song.

Only the fishermen, James and John followed Jesus.
Jesus was brave and did not give up even when he was rejected.
The Scribes and the Pharisees didn't follow Jesus.

I danced in the morning when the world was begun
I danced in the Moon, and the stars, and the Sun
I came down from Heaven and I danced on Earth
At Bethlehem I had my birth.

Dance then, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the Dance, said He!
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said He!

I danced for the scribe and the pharisee
They would not dance, they wouldn't follow me
So I danced for the fishermen James and John
They come with me and the Dance went on:

Dance then, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the Dance, said He!
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said He!

I danced on the Sabbath and cured the lame
The holy people, they said it was a shame!
They whipped and stripped and then hung me high
Left me there on a cross to die!

Dance then, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the Dance, said He!
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said He!

I danced on a Friday when the sky turned black
It's hard to dance with the devil on your back
They buried my body and they thought I'd gone
But I am the Dance and I still go on!

Dance then, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the Dance, said He!
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said He!

They cut me down but I leap up high
I am the Life that will never never die!
I live in you if you live in Me
I am the Lord of the Dance, said He!

Dance then, wherever you may be
For I am the Lord of the Dance, said He!
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said He!

Dance then, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the Dance, said He!
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said He!

Dance then, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the Dance, said He!
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said He!

What an intense game!

In the weekend I played rugby for Marist. We versed Varsity at their home ground. We have 3 wins and 2 loses. We really needed to win. But win or lose, we will play hard and do our very best!

When we got there we did warm ups by stretching our arms ad legs. The we ran around the field twice. We were tired already. We were passing the ball and running in circles. After that we huddled together while I went to the ref because I was captain. I lost the toss and we had to kick.

Time went by and we kicked. They dropped the ball (Happy) and we had a scrum. We passed  and passed and we scored a try. We missed the kick and the tension was high through out the game. It was intense! Varsity got a yellow card for a high tackle.

Half time came and we ate a lot of oranges and drank a lot of water. Then the second half started and Varsity kicked. We caught it and scored 2 more tries. Varsity scored three and kicked two and they won 17 to 15. We were all guttered and in the end we said, "Good game."

I felt sorrowful because we lost but an ice block cheered me up. Next time I will work n my kicking skills by practising and practising everyday. Practise makes perfect.
