Have you heard of vegetable print wrapping paper?

Ingredients
Choose some vegetables-half a mushroom, a bit of celery or broccoli-anything!
What to do:
1. Cut up the vegetables and dry them on kitchen paper.
2. Press the cut surface onto a good, inky stamp pad.
3. Press the vegetable cuttings onto an A3 size sheet of paper.
4. Use different stamp pads , different colours, and vegetables.
5. Keep on printing until the A3 sheet is covered with prints.
6. Evaluate your paper. Does it look?

WALT write a procedural writing using the correct structure.
I know this when I write the ingredients, followed by the instructions and end with the evaluation.

The best Mother's Day ever!

It was Mother’s Day on Sunday. It was a special day for all the mothers around the world.

When I woke up that morning, I got my brother and we gave our cards to my mum. My brother and I went to the kitchen and made French toast for everyone. There were two French toasts on each plate. My sister gave her French toast to my mum and my mum shared it with my dad. My mum and my dad had breakfast in bed.

During the day, my mum had a nap and my dad was read the newspaper. I had a water fight with my neighbours. After we played water fights, we played the water quiz. Whoever gets a question wrong, the person is splashed with cold water.

We had a leg of ham, potatoes and vegetables for dinner while we watched the Crusaders play the Reds in the Super Rugby tournament. For dessert, we had whipped cream, apple pie and ice cream. They were delicious.
I had the best Mother’s Day and I hope my mum did as well.

My mum is kind. She is generous. Mum is always happy. My mum is respectful. Mum is independent. She is friendly. My mum is helpful. She gives me the courage to do my best. She is healthy. My mum looks after herself and her family members. My mum is forgiving.

My mum makes the best lasagne. Mum isn't pretty, she’s beautiful.  My mum is the best in the world. She takes care of me.
She loves me and she always will. Mum, you are the honey on my Weetbix.

Mum you are funnier than Sonny who tried to find a bunny so that he could get some money. I love you mum and I will always love you until the end of time. Roses are red, violets are blue, God blessed me with a mother like you.

     I LOVE YOU MUM
