Any advice for people who want to be athletes?

Fitness is a big part of our daily lives. More and more people die year after year from obesity.


Image result for fitnessOver 600 million people around the world were overweight or obese. 1.7 billion dollars is wasted on fast food in America and people have to pay 2 million dollars a year for their National Health Service bills. Most people’s average dinner consists of fast foods, burgers, fried foods and pizza with no healthy vegetables and fruits included. Most people would love a good treat but it should not be a daily thing. Lollies, fizzy drinks, chocolates and many more sweets ruin your teeth and can cause gum disease which can be expensive with dentist’s bill.


Image result for fruit and vegetableWhat is a balanced diet? Since fizzy drinks are bad for you, what could be a good replacement for it? How about water or homemade juice without sugar. Water quenches your thirst and cleanses the toxins in your body. Any kind of homemade fruit juice without sugar has health benefits especially the orange juice which gives you vitamin C so you can be strong for sports because it boosts your immune system. A lot of fresh fruits and vegetables should be included in our daily diet as well some meat and fish and wheat bread to obtain energy, protein and iron which your body needs for physical activities.


Do you play sports? If you do then look at the size of professional sports men and women. They are very strong because they exercise for hours and hours a day and eat nutritious food. Look at the successful sports people, they didn't get that fit by doing nothing. They work hard in their training so that they can be fit enough to continue their career as professional athletes. If they are not fit enough to play, they will need to get fit first. It takes a lot of hard work and discipline for an athlete to be successful in their athletic career.


I hope I have convinced you to stay fit and only eat junk food occasionally or during special events. Eat well and live well.
